PATRICK GILL ~ Lead Vocalist/ Drummer/ Song Writer/ Composer.

Patrick has been with Reggae Magic for 19 years. He has played and performed session work with artists such as Michael Prophet and Prince Lincoln also with Louchie Lou and featured in their video on the chart show. Patrick has also completed various international tours including Holland, Germany, France and Japan.

CLYDE SMALL ~ Band leader/ Bass Player and Compere.

The original founder member of Reggae Magic who has been popping to the reggae groove on the bass for over 20 years with the band and on various other projects Clyde leads his reggae warriors as front man from show to show.

ORVIL LAYNE ~ Keyboard Player and Original Band Member.

Orvil has been skanking reggae beats on keyboards for nearly 15 years. A vital member of the band who has also played in many other bands such as Skarks Teeth, Myopia and Vallejo covering a variety of styles including afro-world music with Papa Js Band ('97 to '99) with the album "Around the World in 48 Minutes" and jazz fusion The Mike Masters Band. Orvil has also released an original album Open Space in 2005.

ERROL THOMAS ~ Electric Guitar and Guitar Synthesiser.

Errols main influences are Herbie Hancock and Jimi Hendrix but he loves to cut loose on the reggae grooves. Errol also leads the UK peace band the Funky Jazz 4 Peace Collective but enjoys playing the music of his culture. Errol has also recorded with Philip Bent and Courtney Pine and played at numerous clubs and festivals.

BEN HADWEN ~ Saxophone.

New Zealand born and bred, Ben started playing at the age of 12. He grew up in an artistic household surrounded by the sounds of Eric Dolphy and Cannonball Addereley. Ben moved to the east coast of the US in '89 to study jazz. He moved to Colorado in '92 where he finished high school and began gigging with various groups ranging from funk to reggae and hip hop. He also broadened his arsenal of instruments to start playing flute and bass clarinet and performed alongside King Brett and Guru. Searching for a more musically diverse climate Ben moved to London in 2004. He has appeared on recordings with Recloose, Atjazz, Daz I-Kue (bugs in da attic) and performed with Mark de Clive-Lowe and Omar. 2010 is set to be a busy year with Ben working on his own album and appearing on the debut albums of Survival, Kay Suzuki (Bipolar), Emanative (Futuristic) and Sound Species (Burnt Progress).

PAUL BATIK ~ Trumpet.

Hard bop trumpet player Paul loves the challenge of ska and reggae. Paul has had stints at the legendary jazz cafe and Ronnie Scotts and numerous clubs and pubs all over London and the south east. Paul is greatly influenced by lee Morgan, Freddie Hubbard and dizzy Gillespie.
